Great atmosphere and people were very friendly. We had a party of 6 and showed up for food, but they no longer serve food. They do accept door dash type of deliveries, so we had some food delivered. We played pool on one of their 2 tables. We were there at 5:30 on a Saturday evening and it wasn't busy. By 9pm, the place had a live band, and it was buzzing with activity. You were still able to get drinks in a short amount of time with the 2 bartenders. Seating was no longer available. If you are looking for a seat, I suggest showing up early before 9pm. We had a lot of fun. Highly recommend for an evening out with friends.
It's always Good Times at Good Times! Best Live music in town. Seen quite a few amazing bands come through on Saturday nights! They even brought in some new liquor because it was my favorite! I love the bartenders, it's always a Pahty!

Best place in Ankeny for live music. I even had the opportunity to see the Sugar Hill Gang (the first commercially successful hip hop band) here for free. They have had some epic concerts at Good Times, and the acoustics are first rate. If you have not been here and enjoy live music, I'm not sure what you're waiting for because it's a fun place. Good Times gets 5 stars for being the best place in town for live music and bonus points for two darts games. This place is fun. They don't call it Good Times for nothing.

Great place with great people. I made many long term friends here. One of the friendliest bar owners you will ever meet. Live music every Saturday and most Fridays. Relaxed come as you are vibes. No cover charges ever anymore!
Good small town bar that has great deals on beer liquor and food Fridays its either band or karaoke but if your here near Ankeny stop by check it out... Omw there mostly every weekend
